PRODUCT DATA of Inconel X-750
MaterialInconel X-750
Product DatasheetInconel alloy X-750
General InformationInconel X-750 is a high-strength oxidation-resistant nickel-base alloy. It is used for parts requiring high strength up to 538 C or high creep strength up to 815 C and for low -stressed parts operating up to 1038 C. It is hardenable by various combinations of solution treatment and aging, depending on its form and application.
PrecautionsTypical data in the overaged condition
Chemical CompositionNi-16Cr-8Fe-1Co-1Nb-2.5Ti

MachinabilityX-750 work hardens quickly and is more difficult to machine than most standard ferritic and martensitic alloys. The alloy is most easily machined in the stress-equalized
WeldingX-750 should be welded in the stress-equalized condition, 885°C heat treatment, and solution treated and age hardened after welding has been completed.
